Musical Monday: Lana Del Rey and Other Disasters

Dear Wonderful Follower,

(I know it’s not Monday, but this post is about Musical Monday.)

So I don’t know if you noticed (you probably didn’t), but I have been neglecting posting anything in Musical Monday (which is a day dedicated to “review” a music album and introduce you to it; I promise I have a good taste in music). “Why”, you say. Well, truth of the matter is, I am a little (?) OCD and before doing those posts for you I have to listen to the whole album religiously, dissect its lyrics, read a few official reviews and a few user reviews, think about it, and then write about in a very precise and eloquent fashion, which requires a lot of time and revisions. But, I am starting to rethink this tedious  process because music is like art, it is not about what it is, it’s about what it makes you feel, or something like that! Also, I want to introduce you to many great artists and bands because I know how can music revive the soul, and inspire the mind. And isn’t just so great to find THAT one album that you listen to on repeat for months, and then years later when you hear it again, you’re suddenly struck with a vision of younger-you with all its memories, emotions, great triumphs. And really, really stupid mistakes, and at this moment you either laugh or weep.

So enough with the rambling! Next up, I am going to be featuring my home girl, Lana Del Rey, because, really, writing about Lana Del Rey is like a rite of passage to any female music blogger. Oh, did I mention she’s is totally haunting!

To give you a little sneak peak I am also going to be featuring: The 1975, their song “Chocolate” is totally addicting. And Gabriella  Alpin, London Grammar ……….. and many, many more. Stay Tuned!

P.S. I can’t believe that I reached a 1,000 (A THOUSAND) followers. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! You’re the BOMB.COM!

Love,

-Christina

P.S. Sorry for that misleading title!

Yes, it all that "learning" did result in prolonging her stay at college, but she doesn't regret it one bit, as she feels ready as ever to produce this blog to you and introduce you to her colorful world!
