I really respect and appreciate Lolo Jones’s stance on sex. It must have been really hard for her with all that peer-pressure, suppressed hormones, judgements, and all those guys that never call her back (š¦) but it only takes a strong-willed person to do so. I think it’s important to remain a virgin before marriage especially is the society that we live in. I believe that God is going to reward her patience soon. š
Christina is 25 years old, living in Los Angeles, USA. She graduated in 2013, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Creative Writing. Christina is a curious soul, so she filled her college career with classes about art, philosophy, fashion, photography, etc. You name it, she took it (say... archery? Yes. Hmm belly dancing? Yes!). Yes, it all that "learning" did result in prolonging her stay at college, but she doesn't regret it one bit, as she feels ready as ever to produce this blog to you and introduce you to her colorful world!

It’s not like a unicorn, but most people don’t talk about it because of how big a deal is made about it. It’s a mindset thing in my opinion. It’s a part of my life, but not the biggest part. I commend her for stance and being vocal about it.
I read some comments about this story where people were making fun of her for this decision, and that makes me sad. People who practice abstinence are not stupid. Just because “everyone else is doing it” doesn’t mean a person’s dumb if they don’t fall in with the crowd.
I respect her for her decision, and I hope she finds a husband who will cherish her for her patience.
Virgin or not…its a private thing. I don’t think its anyone’s business whether or not someone is having sex. I don’t think someone who has lots of partners is a bad person or someone holding out makes them an amazing person. Hopefully she does find a man who doesn’t judge her as well.

You’re so right about it all. Fall too soon and you usually fall off the track!
It never goes as well, that’s for sure!
I agree! your profile picture is lovely š
That’s awesome! She can be such a role model to the rest of us!
She is. She’s so inspiring.

Good for her, it’s so nice to hear about some positive role models! š
