My Blog is My Love Child

I love it so so so much.
But, NO ONE should know about it.
Or at least people who directly know me.

I think the beauty of a blog comes from the fact that you can fully express yourself and be who you are and write whatever you want.

I’m not saying that I’m fake or that I pretend to be someone I’m not in real life.

I just feel like if I told people about it, it’s going to affect the way I write. You know the Observer’s Effect stuff haha. You guys know what I mean.

I just feel like a blog is a beautiful way of clearing my mind and setting goals.

Just writing my thoughts on a post makes them more “real” somehow and it makes me more committed to them. For example, If I said that I’m going to clean my room and wrote it in a post, I’m more likely to clean my room than if I just noted that in my head. Sometimes, I need motivation to do the simplest tasks in my life because without taking care of the simple stuff, I don’t feel prepared to tackle bigger projects.

Also I feel like if I wrote about something, I can talk about it to people more clearly and confidently.

Finally, a blog is important because it lets me express my interests and ideas that people in my immediate circle might not find interesting. However, I can gain the motivation needed to continue with my interests through my blog friends.

I know many of you guys feel the same way as me and I would ilke to find out why your blog is important to you??

Yes, it all that "learning" did result in prolonging her stay at college, but she doesn't regret it one bit, as she feels ready as ever to produce this blog to you and introduce you to her colorful world! 1. Hey there,

I completely agree. I’ve only been blogging seriously for about two months now, but it’s already become a very important part of my life. My blog is called ‘WriteNow’ and is for aspiring writers, and also for myself to help contribute and share my thoughts as a writer. Writing is a part of me that no-one who knows me in real life is really aware of; like my little bubble and my greatest passion.

I hope to start a new blog in a few weeks that’s more like a journal, to, like you say, ‘clear my mind and set goals’

Lovely post, thanks for sharing 😉

  2. Hey Jay =]
I love your blog title. It’s so fun and very clever. And I would love to check out your journal blog, so I urge you to start that ASAP.

I’m also new to the blogging world and I was wondering how did you find out about my post? Like does it show somewhere? Sorry I’m such a novice haha

    1. Thanks, I’m glad you like it and thanks so commenting! I’d love to start journalling, but whenever I try, it just seems like a load of ramblings or a running line of cliches. I guess it gets better with practice, so thank you for the encouragement. 😀

It took me a while to figure it too, so no worries! On the top left, where the ‘W’ in the circle is, hover over that icon and then click ‘Topics’ on the dropdown list, then I clicked on ‘Writing’ where I found your post 🙂 Hope that was clear enough!

      1. lol. I get what you’re saying. I would recommend to maybe write about something in your life that you feel strongly about or something totally confusing and trust me them the words will come…so try it

Thanks, you made me finally finally figure out how this thing works lol.

        Appreciate that you’re following ;]
